Digital Live Sound Console

One of the most versatile mid format consoles in existence. There is no console out there faster or easier to use thanks to the Soundcraft / Studer Vistonics interface, which embeds rotary knobs and buttons into touch screens. Suitable for live sound, both FOH and monitors, theatre and corporate. Depending on application we can supply both fibre optic and Cat6 multicore solutions.

We can offer several configurations:

FOH Console:

Packaged with the 64ch stage box containing some of the best preamps in the industry, our setup gives tremendous power with its 32 local inputs and outputs on the surface. This means it is easy to plug in playback systems, multiple streams from Qlab (which together with its 16 VCAs and impressive snapshot system makes it superb for theatre), exotic outboard etc. Alternatively, add a 32ch stage box as well to make up to 96 channels to mix, plenty for most shows!

In addition, our FOH spec Vi3000 also has a Universal Audio Realtime Rack – Ultimate. This enables an extensive library of 72 of the finest modelled plugins in the industry. These include Urei 1176, Lexicon 224 reverb, EMT 140 plate, Roland 201 space delay and other notable plug-ins from Neve, Empirical Labs, Manley, SSL and of course the original DBX160 compressor. You can see a full list of plugins at the bottom of the page.

In addition, ours is enabled to handle Dante in addition to the MADI Realtime rack, so you have 64 channels of recording available for virtual sound checks or recording that live album.

Monitor Console:

Packaged with the 32channel stage box and using its 32 local inputs, this console gives a total of 64 inputs and 24 stereo mixes to stage. It’s ultra-fast operation by comparison to almost any other digital console makes it pretty much the monitor world king in its class. Add in 64 channels of Dante recording for virtual sound checks before the band turn up and it is a superb choice.

Corporate:

Available with or without stage boxes, the 32 local inputs and outputs mean it can handle multiple VT feeds with ease, radio mics and multiple broadcast mixes. It also has 2x 16 channel automixers built in meaning that panels of presenters and multiple headset mics on stage at once sound clean and clear at all times.

Theatre:

The large local patch, advanced snapshot system, automixers and 16 VCAs make this console a superb choice for theatre. Add in the immensely powerful Realtime Rack and Universal Audio plugins and this console becomes a sound designer’s dream.

Festival Package:

For the ultimate in neat packaging, we can supply a Vi3000 out front and on stage simultaneously. The stage boxes are cleverly housed in a compact, double wide flight case that the monitor console sits on top of in a space saving solution. A full 64channels available on stage and out front with no sharing of preamps. Add in the Universal Audio plugins for front of house and you have an immensely powerful package.

All Vi3000 consoles have 4 x Lexicon effects processors, BSS comps and gates on every single input and out put as standard and 8 x BSS DPR901 dynamic EQs and 2 x automixers as standard.
